HR OPERATIONS SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Lufkin, TX.

- Human Resources experience

What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for supporting on-boarding/exit processes including Oracle and SAP modifications associated with these transactions
- Responsible for supporting employee changes received for hourly and salary positions across the organization. Must be able to understand and comply with specific requirements in Angelina County due to injunction.
- Respond to requests for employee information in a timely and courteous manner; ensure requester is entitled to receive specific information prior to its disclosure.
- This position often deals with sensitive and highly confidential matters, requiring tact and diplomacy.
- Source and/or create various reports for the HR Department using SAP/HR3 and other software systems.
- Responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. Follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
- Build and maintain effective working relations with the HRM team and employees to advise both on OHR and SAP data matters
- Offer a customer focused HR service, which supports GE culture and values
- Apply and monitor HR and payroll policies and procedures, assisting in the implementation of new policies as required

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Must have minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in managing large volumes of highly confidential data.
- Must maintain absolute confidentiality.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with additional demonstrated working knowledge of computers, systems and basic business computer software particularly MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Excellent attention to detail required.
- SAP HR module experience strongly preferred.
- OHR experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience providing exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated and proven excellent organizational skills, ability to manage several tasks at once and reprioritize in an environment which offers continual interruptions, able to suggest and make improvements to processes and systems, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear documentation and to research information as needed.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least four (4) years of experience in a human resources position)
- At least one (1) additional year of Human Resources experience
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Strong conflict resolution techniques and influencing skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
