HR Operations Specialist - Reading - 9 Month initial contract - £22,000 - £25,000

Our client, a Global technology company is seeking a HR Operations Specialist to be based in Reading on an initial 9 month contract.

Role Purpose
To play a central role as part of a team in delivering exceptional levels of customer service and support to the HR community, managers and employees, with a professional and efficient approach.

Key Accountability's
Responsible for all escalations from the HR Operations Associates. Maintain and improve desk top procedures and be a subject matter expert on specific processes.

HR Operations Specialist Support
*Be the subject matter expert for HR Operations processes
*Ensure the processes owned are maintained and streamlined where appropriate
*Submit change data to payroll on a monthly basis
*Provide support for any HR Operations programs/initiatives/projects
*Maintain data in the HR system in relation to process ownership
*Ensure material in relation to owned processes is updated when required on the HRweb
*Manage desk top procedures and ensure they are maintained/current and reviewed as appropriate

Ad Hoc Duties:
*Maintaining and updating internal on-line tools
*Providing cover for colleagues due sickness and holidays

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential Experience:
*Proven examples of strong organisational skills, ideally project delivery or co-ordination
*Outstanding communication skills, ability to build relationships across all levels of Microsoft with a strong drive for results
*Good analytical skills and able to work independently and under pressure of tight deadlines
*Exceptional attention to detail

Desirable:
*Strong Business Acumen
*Knowledge and experience in the IT Industry

Technical/Functional Skills
*Proven experience with Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Word and Visio with particularly strong knowledge of Excel
*Strong Experience of on-line tools
