HR Officer - 9 Months - Glasgow

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR officer for a 9month contract to be based in Glasgow.

You will be responsible for ensuring HR policies and procedures are compliant with employment legislation and best practice and have lead responsibility for key work-streams.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- CIPD qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification or with an HR recognised qualification
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience of providing advice and guidance on a wide range of complex HR and people matters in a customer focussed environment
- Experience of designing and delivering learning and development interventions to meet business needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders
- Proven experience in influencing managers and employees
- Strong understanding of people management and development theories and practice
- Strong organisational and planning skills, able to prioritise and use initiative
