A top financial services organisation based in Windsor are seeking a HR officer to join their team. This will initially be a 12 month maternity cover with the potential to go permanent.

The organisation has been named "Sunday Times 100 best companies to work for in the UK" and "Virgin Atlantic Sunday times fast track 100 business"

THE HR OFFICER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY DELIVERY OF OPERATIONAL HR AND RECRUITMENT SERVICES ACROSS THE UK AND EUROPEAN OFFICES.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

RECRUITMENT, ON-BOARDING-HR ADVISORY, DISCIPLINE AND GRIEVANCE, MANAGEMENT SUPPORT, MI REPORTING, HR PROJECTS ETC.

- Implement recruitment plans to attract high calibre candidates
- Manage the selection process from beginning to end
- Maintain the online recruitment platform
- Engage with external recruitment agencies and build strong working relationships
- Provide day to day HR advice & support to all stakeholders
- Provide guidance to management team on absence, sickness, maternity, paternity cover etc.
- Conduct disciplinary procedures
- Produce timely and accurate monthly HR reporting for HR director
- Meet with managers to discuss HR/people issues
- Undertake Ad-Hoc projects, tasks and activities to support the HR function and business strategy

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Preferably CIPD (Certificate in Training Practice) qualified or equivalent training qualification
- Excellent knowledge of recruitment ranging from engaging with external agencies the whole way through to placing candidates
- Previous experience in an SME environment
- Experience in a HR generalist HR role at HR officer or HR advisor level
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and incentive pay schemes
- A confident and articulate candidate who thinks outside the box and express input and opinions with senior management and stakeholders within the business
- Ability to work autonomously
