HR MANAGER - SECURITY CLEARANCE

Any of the following security clearance is a pre-requisite:

- Counter-Terrorist Check
- Security Check
- Developed Vetting

We are looking to contract an HR Manager who has specific experience of Staff transfers and TUPE management in respect of major public sector outsourcing programmes. The person will be capable of working on their own to ensure a smooth transition of staff. The contract will be from 4/8/2014 for 6 months

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

- Responsible for at least one TUPE transfer within public sector preferably in respect of technology sector or technology-related projects.
- Conducted role evaluation and staff selection as part of a strategic change programme.
- Provided advice on the 'Fair Deal' arrangements, preferably including advice on the 'New Fair Deal' arrangements including true-up of contributions.
- HR experience setting policy and developing processes around staff management, and engagement throughout such a process.
- Communications and Stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to plan and drive the TUPE process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- The successful and smooth transfer of staff  under TUPE regulations to HR best practice
- Delivery of HR advice on staff transfers, redundancies, changing roles and role evaluation
- Identification, management and resolution of HR risks and issues
- Advising on compliance with employment law
- Lead interaction with legal TUPE advisers
