Key skills required:
" Up to date specialist knowledge of employment law and appropriate application of HR best practice, including all generalist HR areas such as:
" Employee Relations - short and long term sickness, performance management, grievance and disciplinary, redundancy, terms and conditions, policies and procedures.
" Trade Unions
" Employee Resourcing
" Management of Change
" Extensive experience of providing generalist HR advice covering the following areas; Recruitment and Retention; Employee Relations; Change management; Employment Legislation.
" Experience of operating a HR Business Partner approach within complex organisations and for a range of customers.
" Experience of managing a range of HR related projects through to successful conclusion.
" Experience of working with a range of customers and stakeholders of all levels, internal and external, such as Directors, Senior Management, Professional Organisations and Trade Unions.
" Evidence of developing and implementing a range of HR policies and procedures.
" Experience of managing staff, including the assessment of skills and capabilities of team members and provision of feedback.
" You will also be a CIPD graduate.
