Please see the below job specification:
- Deliver pragmatic HR consultancy across the organization in a complex environment, including tailored people management, organisation design, change management, resourcing, learning and development, employee relations, TU relations, talent and succession planning and reward.
- Work in partnership with the HR Head of Ops to deliver strategic and tactical initiatives across the organisation and input to the HR directorate operational plan and objectives
- Quickly become an advocate for HR ways of working, policies and procedures - represent HR across the organisation
- Key in the design and delivery of ODD initiatives including restructuring and redundancy
- Driving an organizational focus on active performance management
- Extensive experience of managing complex ER, preferably in public sector, as well as working with external employment lawyers
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders to Board level
- Comprehensive up-to-date employment law knowledge
- Collaborative, team player committed to playing their part in the success of HR colleagues and the HR team
- Line management of the HR BP team (3/4 FTE), effectively setting the team's agenda, managing performance excellent delegation
- Reporting to Interim HRD
- CIPD qualified
