Location: Cambridge
Salary: £200 - £300 per day

This client is at the forefront of logistics in the transport sector based in the north of Cambridge. This is a unique opportunity for somebody to join an environment where they will be responsible for leading HR projects and processes as well as providing HR support to the business. This client is based near to the A14 and is easily accessible from the surrounding area.

The HR Manager will develop and deliver people management strategies which support the regions overall strategic aims and objectives. You will be responsible for contributing at both a strategic and operational level in order to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions which support business aims, in addition to providing a customer-focused HR service.
This role will initially be on a contract basis with the possibility of becoming permanent at the end of the contract.

To fulfil the duties of the role the HR Manager will have:
Proven generalist experience including the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels
MCIPD certification
Experience at recruitment interviewing and assessment at a senior level
Experience in the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures
Fully conversant and up-to-date with all aspects of employment law and HR best practice
