On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for an HR IT BUSINESS ANALYST with proven experience in applying business analysis techniques ideally for HR programs. Main responsibilities:

- Determine required IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
- Conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, using a variety of internal and external data and working jointly with HR
- Support the business engineer by describing the business processes, including the organizational structures involved
- Support project management tasks
- Provide documentation of processes and business requirements
- Plan, perform business & systems analysis, process design, test, and implement system changes
- Conduct current state analysis, define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, test, train, and define support procedures and implementation
- Create detailed system design requirements, including Feature Documentation, User Interface and Screen Designs, Use Case Scenarios, Workflow Diagrams, and Data Models
- Coordinate with different IT and vendor teams (if required) to complete the implementation activities
- Perform gap analyses of existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Perform defect resolution & tracking using Quality Center, provide user support
- Create High Level Design documents & Requirement Traceability Matrices

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience as an HR BA
- Proven experience applying business analysis techniques both in functional and technical domains and ideally for HR programs
- Ability to interpret a set of business requirements and develop robust solutions
- Good understanding of the software development life cycle and experience of working to a formal SDLC methodology
- Extensive experience with HR processes and solutions
- Experience with Fusion or other HR applications would be advantageous
- Experience within HR-IT domain as well as with IT Transformation programs
- Experience in design and development of software applications
- Technical experience that includes data and system integration
- Previous experience working with large software packages in a vendor hosted environment
