HR Global System Analyst (Workday)/3 month contract/immediate start

My client based in the Netherlands are urgently seeking for a Business Analyst specialising in Workday. My client are mid way through a global roll out of Workday and require a Business Analyst on an immediate contract basis.

Position Summary:

The Global Business Systems Analyst is responsible for:
*The best possible support of global business processes by utilizing global and regional (HR) business applications
*Development and implementation of adjusted or new functions of the software
*Analysis of business processes and how the existing systems best support these together with Workday
*Creating functional designs, test scripts and data mapping
*Leading IT development and relevant IT staff (eg Firewall expert)
*Planning, reporting and following up on IT work
*End to end testing coordination (SIT and UAT)


Workday is selected as the global system to support HR processes. The system is currently being rolled out to all regions and integrated with regional systems (Payroll, time registration, etc).

The Global Systems Analyst HR and generic systems:
*Works closely and pro-active with business stakeholders and process owners to understand the needs of the business and to help implement changes.
*Has deep knowledge (expert level) in HR processes and corresponding functional area's in the software.
*Initiates improvements in the business (processes) based on knowledge of the (changing) business processes and knowledge of the capabilities of the software (both technical and functional).
*Gathers and analyzes requirements, writes functional designs, (acceptance) test design and (helps) configure the system for new initiatives and projects.
*Is responsible for the functional design (data mapping) of integrations required for the HR processes
*Leads (IT part of) projects to realize and implement changes and works alongside business lead
*Trains and supports (key) users in the new processes
*Supports go-live and hyper care, if required with support from software vendor
*Will also work on projects outside HR with focus on SG&A processes (Contract management, document management, office automation, workflow and others)

Team structure
Reports to: Global ERP director
Works directly with global process owners, Group and Regional Managers and Directors as well as key-users

Specific Requirements
*Educational level/Experience: Masters degree with 10+ years' experience in Implementation and analysis of HR related systems
*Strong international working experience
*Business analysis and Systems analysis skills and experience
*Proven project management skills
*Team player, Initiative taker
*Global travel will be required
