HR Global Mobility Coordinator

You will work with a group of Global Mobility Managers to ensure effective, accurate and timely assignment management support for assignees and stakeholders and manage all administrative aspects of international assignments (from start to repatriation)


- Gather/research assignee data
- Calculate cost projections, compensation packages
- Generate Payroll Notification Reports (instructions to home and host payroll)
- Prepare assignment letter of conditions
- Initiate all assignment related third party providers, such as housing accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, work permits/visas, tax consults, cultural awareness training, etc.
- Liaise with SSC on ongoing basis for data accuracy in HRIS System (SAP) and Global Mobility System (RAYS)
- Liaise with and consult different host and home HR Contacts and Payroll Teams around the world to manage accurate and timely assignee data maintenance and pay
- Oversee necessary administrative tasks relating to transfers, including creation and maintenance of personnel files, correspondence, payments instructions, etc.
- Update Global Mobility documentation, such as
- Assignee Record in Shared-Drive
- Budget Tables
- Guidelines
- Templates
- Maintain all data within Global Mobility System (RAYS) accurately and responsively
- Demonstrate excellent customer service to all stakeholders
- Support line manager and team on special assignments and projects

Knowledge of:

- Roche Global Mobility policies, processes and guidelines
- Assignment tax planning and tax compliance requirements and processes.
- Assignment cost analysis methods involving compensation and allowances (eg COLA, QUOLA, etc.).
- How to coordinate payroll with assignment payments
- Localization concepts and processes (for example tax implications, Social Security issues).
- Relevant issues related to international assignments (eg visas, work permits, tax compliance).
