HR GENERALIST

*YOU WILL NEED TO BE IMMEDIATLEY AVAILABLE FOR THIS ROLE AND COME FROM A LARGE BLUE CHIP COMPANY OR IT CONSULTANCY BACKGROUND*

Ideally from a Large Blue Chip company or IT Consultancy background, the Generalist will contribute to the delivery of HR by providing a hands on, timely, customer-focused and effective service associated with employee relations, retention, performance management, reward, training and development, benefits, and general personnel administration.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential Experience:
Demonstrable experience of HR business partnership
Hands on Employee Relations experience - grievances, disciplinaries, dismissals via compromise agreements, redundancies and flexible working requests
Compensation & Benefits experience
Good all round experience of HR systems, policies, legal requirements programs & practices.
Sound business acumen with focus on how HR drives business results
Appreciation of importance in building relationships and networks
Able to manage & deliver through virtual &/or project teams.
Previous proven experience in dynamic and complex environments.
Desirable - some knowledge of SAP
Desirable - knowledge & experience in the IT industry
Desirable - experience of working with a Shared Service Model

Required functional/technical skills:
Excellent PC skills - advanced excel
Familiarity with Internet based applications.
Ability to effectively manage issues with high ambiguity & complexity
Organisational change management skills
Strong problem solving ability
High attention to detail

Well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability.
Resilience, flexibility and adaptability to be able to cope with and manage multiple demands, working under time pressured deadlines.
