HR Employment Relations Business Partner

Projektbeschreibung

Our client is looking to employ a HR Employment Relations Business Partner to be responsible for providing guidance and support in the formulation and delivery of employment relations and rewards outcomes. This is an initial 3 month contract based in Edinburgh paying up to £180 per day Ltd rate or £140 per day PAYE.

Responsibilities:

*Involvement in the planning and implementation of both general and specific reward interventions including annual staff pay outcomes and staff group specific matters
*Review and develop where necessary, a range of existing and newly commissioned HR products and liaise with stakeholders' trade unions where necessary
*Provide expertise and support in the resolution of collective disputes at both national and local level and provide guidance to managers in case work relating to conciliation or arbitration
*Monitor the application of Employment Relations and Rewards products within the service, providing advice and support to users to ensure consistency and effectiveness
* Monitor compliance with statutory employment requirements with regard to Employment Relations and Reward products
*Manage, coach and develop others in their understanding and application of Employment Relations and Rewards policies and practices to enhance the capability of individuals, the team and the quality of service provided

Qualifications:

*Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) at Associate level or above (Essential)

Experience:

*Appropriate range of experience at HR Manager level (Essential)
*Experience in the development of HR products such as policies, procedures and collective agreements (Essential)
*Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, case law and code of practice, with experience of working within a unionised environment (Essential)
*Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of contacts and positively influence others to achieve desired results (Essential)
*Ability to analyse and evaluate information and recognise potential issues using project management skills, techniques and methodology to find effective solutions to complex problems (Essential)
*Knowledge of Civil Service Employment Relations and Rewards Frameworks (Desirable)

Current Disclosure Scotland would be ideal but is not essential; however you must be eligible to obtain this.
