Description:

Direct a team/teams involved in the design and development of a programme/programmes of initiatives
-

Develop clear requirements for products and services to enable the delivery of the programme(s)
-

Lead the delivery, implementation and planning of the projects and initiatives within their operational programme(s), delivering products and milestones as required
-

Ensure the programme(s)'s benefits are realised
-

Ensure that programmes are delivered on time and to budget
-

Lead, manage and develop their team in its contribution to the achievement of the departments objectives and provide clear direction and support in the development and delivery of its products
-

Ensure progress is monitored; risks identified and appropriate mitigation against non-delivery is invoked.

Experience Required:

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

-

Experience of leading a large Human Resources function, shaping its direction, culture, values and goals (including HR Business partnering)
-

A track record of achieving strong results through successfully building capability at all levels of an organisation
-

Experience in managing significant and successful culture change through the use of Organisation Development techniques
-

Experience of promoting an environment that champions staff well-being and encourages engagement.
-

The successful candidate will be an outstanding strategic HR leader who can build highly effective and influential relationships, innovative with a focus on business delivery and the customer.

They will support the development of a highly engaged, motivated and diverse workforce.

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate capability or potential against the following criteria

The ability to build and maintain successful relationships, winning and retaining the trust of peers and senior stakeholders

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey messages to both internal and external audiences and to listen and act on feedback both individually and for the HR function

Possess the drive, enthusiasm and commitment to deliver a demanding agenda
