HR Director - 6 months - Staines - Negotiable Daily Rate

A leading Energy and Utilities client of Hyphen is looking for a HR Director to join their site in Staines as a HR Director to oversee HR policy for the UK.

Job Purpose:- This role is focused on HomeCare, a business with 11,000 employees, serving 4m customers. HomeCare is made up of a large field force of gas and electrical engineers, 4 customer service centres, and a National Distribution Centre.

The key deliverables of the role are to:

-Develop and embed a culture that puts customers at the heart of our business
-Bring to life the business objectives, strategic priorities and values in a way that makes sense for our people
-Build and develop the leadership capability to enable the client to achieve its full potential
-Implement and embed reward schemes designed to drive the right behaviours and performance by adopting a balanced approach towards compliance and growth
-Develop the capabilities of our people to support business growth
-Deliver a clear attraction, recruitment and retention strategy to build a loyal and highly engaged workforce
-Grow our own talent to ensure a robust talent pipeline for the future
-Ensure the business delivers fair outcomes for customers and delivers its people obligations as an FCA regulated business

Experience Required:- -Executive/management level leadership of HR teams in complex businesses (generalists, L delivering innovative people solutions across multiple geographies
-FS experience desirable
-Acts as a business leader with a strong sense of purpose and a dynamic vision for HR and the wider business
-Confidence and credibility to influence the internal stakeholder map
-Capable of facilitating, driving and influencing strategic debate at strategic/board level and business unit/operational level
-Make well-judged commercial and HR decisions
-Experienced in managing ambiguity and high levels of change
-Clear communicator - able to identify and communicate key insights to drive behavioural and performance improvement
-Strong sense of purpose and excellent presentation skills
-Able to challenge short, medium and long-term vision and strategy
-Relationship builder - able to develop close and constructive complex relationships quickly
-Analytical - continuously looking for incisive insight into business performance
-An inspiring change agent able to create compelling strategic plans and co-ordinate and lead the means of delivery in a cost conscious and controlled environment
-Competitive advantage - creating a culture which fosters competition and aligns the business to maximise competitive advantage
-Unites the organisation (and very different BUs) behind one strategy/vision
-Takes a stand of objectivity and integrity and demonstrates courage to challenge and confront.
-Can shape the softer side of a business
