HR DATA MIGRATION LEAD

Experienced Data Migration Lead required for major client migrating from PeopleSoft HR to Workday

Role
Support the programme's deployment by coordinating all local data migration activities in liaison with the central data migration team.
Acts as the principal point of contact for data related questions for all Workstreams during template and integrations design.
Works closely with the functional teams to identify and confirm key configuration items (eg Companies, Locations, Cost Centres.)
Works with the central data migration team to identify and manage local market efforts to source the data necessary for loading to Workday.
Responsible for ensuring all local market data activities are completed according to the Gemini plan.
Works closely with the Market Deployment Leads to ensure Job Catalogue and Supervisory Organisation mappings are completed according to plan.
Key contact for the Data Standards and Governance Workstream

Key Skills/Capabilities
Excellent appreciation of HR/Payroll data, its structures, how it is processed, where it resides
Able to design extract report requirements and clearly communicate these requirements where required
Ideally comfortable extracting data from source systems without system specialist assistance
OR comfortable extracting data from diverse source systems with help from systems specialists if required
Fully conversant with Microsoft Excel.
Other extraction tools knowledge desirable.
Appreciation of the system development life cycle (requirements gathering, gap analysis, design, build, testing, and go-live).
