This person will be working mainly with HR Data

Effectively gather data, analyze and report on a variety of metrics, working with a diverse, team of professionals who support the HR organization.

Design innovative techniques for working with imperfect data sets and translate outputs of self-directed data analysis into easily digestible, insightful, and high-level findings for both compliance and practical applications

Pull data from multiple systems to produce the analysis requested, with little direct guidance and an understanding that the results may be iterative.

Review and clean for data integrity, identify and address inconsistencies in data, develop solutions for dealing with non-linking and missing data, and build and run queries to efficiently clean and analyze information across data sources

Illustrate complex analysis in a concise and simple fashion using tables, charts, and graphs.

What I am really looking for is someone to help with analytics and reporting around workforce data. The ability to slice and dice data sets, create pivot tables, charts and graphs. Able to use Excel and Access to evaluate data and answer questions.

Requirements:

Min 5-8 years of experience in data mining and analysis and/or information indexing

Possess strong analytical reasoning skills with the ability to recognize and evaluate facts, to objectively analyze situations, and to synthesize and organize data/information from multiple sources and highlight salient facts

Excel skills to include competency in the areas of chart creation, pivot tables, 'look-up' and 'if' functions, conditional formatting and tool building

Strong experience working with Excel, building pivot tables, formulas, extracting data, etc.

Comfortable using MS Access

HR Analysis experience preferred but not required

Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, operations research, public health administration required
