THE BIG PICTURE- TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- BA/BS in Human Resources or related field or additional experience in lieu of degree
- Strong computer skills, including SAP, MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Minimum of two (2) years professional experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar role Eligibility Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually and in groups
- Project and process management skills, demonstrated track record of delivering results
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- The Human Resources Coordinator will provide day to pay support to approximately 600 staff employees and support 2 HR Vice Presidents, Manager and Generalist.
- HR Coordinator responsible for all employee transactions in the HR System (on-boarding, off-boarding, leave of absence)
- Answer general questions for employee (Benefits, Payroll, etc.,)
- Assist in Internship Program, New Hire Orientation, Survey Week, etc.
- Maintain, organize and digitize any employee records and files both active and terminated
- Work on HR Operation Systems and programs (SAP, Business Warehouse Report)
- Special projects: Executing HRIS transaction workflows in support of organizational changes
- Run regular and ad hoc reports from applicable HR systems (SAP, Business Warehouse Report)
- Serve as the subject matter expert on the HR team for all HR systems - such as SAP, Timekeeper, etc.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Self-Starter, able to work independently and seek out answers/resources
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a deadline-oriented environment
- Proven track record of excellent follow-through on assignments; demonstrated commitment to getting tasks accomplished
- Strong employee-relations skills; must be approachable and able to earn trust and credibility with employees in the organization
- Demonstrates confidence in their knowledge and abilities
- Able to deal effectively with conflict and manage difficult employee relations situations
- Demonstrates ownership; able to establish self as a 'go-to' HR resource for the team and employees
