ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Processing new hire, termination and salary change requests
- Responding to labor inquiries
- Reviewing, researching, and resolving exceptions on payroll edits
- Record of employment processing
- Verification of employment processing
- Tier 2 phone coverage
- Ad Hoc Projects
SKILLS:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance Degree preferred)
- 3-5 years of accounting experience; specifically with account reconciliations and analysis
- In-house payroll experience a plus
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Proven ability to get results in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work individually and as a team member
- Ability to multi-task to meet various deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
- Possess a strong system aptitude (working knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
- Bilingual - French is a plus
- Any Canadian payroll experience would be a huge plus
