HR CONTRACTOR FOR INTERNATIONAL PAYROLL, BANKING, BRUSSELS
LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED PAYROLL CONTRACTOR WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
SKILLS
You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in payroll processing and social legislation
You have a very good knowledge of Word, Excel as well as different HR systems (PeopleSoft, Fusion, Chronogestor, eBlox)
You have good knowledge of English as well as Dutch or French.

DUTIES:
As a member of the Payroll Services team you will have the following responsibilities:
Payroll management
As an expert you ensure - in collaboration with the external payroll providers and local payroll teams - accurate and timely processing of payrolls for different countries, including Belgian and International payrolls. Depending on the country, it includes the preparation, controls and finalization of monthly payroll but also annual calculations (eg single and double holiday pay + regularization holiday attestations), leavers calculation and launching interfaces between different systems. For other countries you will perform and/or supervise the necessary controls within the payroll cycles. This will be in close cooperation with the local payroll teams and/or local payroll providers
You are responsible for the on-going maintenance and accuracy of data in the payroll systems (Peoplesoft/Fusion, Chronogestor, eBlox and other HR systems to guarantee the availability of correct and reliable employee information.
You are able to justify the calculations towards Audit and Financial departments
As second line support you respond to questions/queries related to payroll and time & attendance information escalated by the Group People Desk (within standard HR policies) and solve complex payroll matters in a timely manner that meets service level agreements
You guarantee a consistent and fair service to all customers.
You undertake the required reporting, both internal and statutory reporting related to Payroll.
You set the yearly payroll calendar, determining the payroll cycle and communicate this with the 3rd party payroll provider and the rest of the HR team
You report to the Payroll Services Team lead.
Project management
You constantly seek opportunities to streamline processes and procedures and drive self service concepts, with an ongoing focus on continuous improvement
You drive projects to increase the efficiency with regards to the collaboration with 3rd party payroll providers
You identify, document and hand over (non core payroll) administrative tasks to be centralized within the HR admin support team
Expat management
You support the on boarding and management of employees with international assignments, in collaboration with external vendors and other HR teams. The list of activities include amongst others: coordinate the expatriation of the employee, provide instructions to local payroll providers, support the tax equalization process, etc.
Continuous improvement & communication
You liaise with HR colleagues and other internal teams (eg Finance, Payroll and IT) on process management, to resolve any issues and to better serve the HR customers as one team
You share your expertise in a natural way with your colleagues and contribute to a knowledge management culture by producing clear documentation and providing this HR information to the HR content & knowledge manager
