HR CONSULTANT (MOBILISATION)

MY CLIENT, A LEADING ENGINEERING SERVICES CONSULTANCY BASED IN TWICKENHAM IS URGENTLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED HR CONSULTANT TO HELP MOBILISE A NEW PROJECT WITHIN THE FACILITIES MANAGEMENT TEAM. THIS IS AN INITIAL 4-5 MONTH CONTRACT WITH POTENTIAL FOR EXTENSION.

This is a full time position working between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday- Friday.

HR CONSULTANT- RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To effectively manage the due diligence process, by communicating effectively with the Transferor, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the data.
- To manage the redundancy process from due diligence stage to post transfer stage in a risk free manner
- To consult with all affected transferees in a timely and effective manner, coordinating employee representation election, where necessary
- To ensure that all communication is sent to the transferees in a timely and accurate manner, promoting engagement.
- To own the FAQ process, as well as any internal channels for live interaction with the transferees
- To design an Induction Programme for all transferees, as well as a post-mobilisation embedment plan, which promotes organisational cultural alignment from an early stage in the process
- To meaningfully consult with all recognised Trade Unions at an early stage in the process, to secure buy in and visibility of any arising potential risks in managing the mobilisation process
- To secure all data relating to Training and Development, C&B, H&S, ER and the historical personnel files, to ensure the continuity of a robust HR record for each employee and the completion of a training Matrix before the transfer date
- To secure and analyse all existing contractual policies and procedures, at due diligence stage, that will have an impact on the individuals entitlements upon transfer

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Proven success in leading and developing an HR team
- Experience of working with trades unions and working with TUPE ideally in an outsourcing/support services environment
- Experience of working in an commercial environment with a diverse range of employment terms and conditions across multiple geographies
- Experience of working at a strategic level within HR
- Experience in change management and business transformation
- In Depth experience of Legislation relating to GP and Redundancy
- Industry experience- preferably within Facilities Management or Local Authority.
