HR CONSULTANT - SC CLEARANCE - BASED IN BRUSSELS
Working for a classified project for an initial 3-6 months, a HR Consultant is required to help support the business requirements and to become a pivotal part of an expanding team.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
- To define a resourcing and recruitment plan in support of the business' short to medium staffing needs,
- To define, simplify,communicate and drive the contractor and permanent recruitment process,
- To reduce the average time to hire and cost to hire for the business,
- To monitor and report on the business' recruitment performance and metrics,
- To develop effective relationships with selected external recruitment agencies,
- ADMINISTRATION MANAGEMENT
- To ensure employee records are up to date and filed in compliance with local legislation and company practices,
- To ensure the employee joiner mover leaver' process is clearly defined, communicated and implemented across the business for a seamless operation,
- PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- To communicate and drive the company performance review process for local contractors and permanent staff,
- To assist, advise and coach local line managers in addressing unsatisfactory performance in compliance with employee contract and relevant legislation,
- RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- To liaise with HR in other offices and Leidos HQ to align to and adopt company-wide people practices and processes,
- To be the specialist point of contact to line managers and employees/contractors in answering and dealing with HR related queries in a professional and timely and manner,
- PERSON SPECIFICATION,
- SECURITY CLEARED A MUST,
- Person will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in similar role,
- Fluent English written and verbal skills,
- Fluency in Dutch and French a distinct advantage,
- Excellent organisation skills with strong eye for detail,
- Interpersonal savvy to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders,
- Ability to make timely and informed decisions in line with local legislation and company practices
- Driven for results with pragmatic problem solving skills
