HR Case Manager

On behalf of my major utilities client I am looking to recruit a HR Case Manager for 3 months based in Warwick.

Your role will be to provide professional guidance and "hands on" support to line managers on the management of cases arising from application of people management policies and practice, including sickness, disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement, discrimination, bullying & harassment and welfare issues.

A mixture of operational and specialist HR activity, with strong involvement in policy implementation, hearings, appeals, dispute resolution and Employment Tribunals processes. The roles requires understanding and practice of procedural and employment law matters, together with strong influencing and communication skills

Essential Skills/Experience
*Knowledge and understanding of employment legislation, specifically that associated with case management.
*Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
*Able to use wide range of technical tools at advanced level and report writing (email, word documents, spreadsheets and presentations)
*Undertake case assignments including supporting, organising and attending investigations hearings, appeals and ETs (as appropriate) in accordance with the complexity of cases and support needed.
*Development of policies, procedures and associated guidance (including disciplinary, grievance, sickness, discrimination, harassment, bullying and performance improvement) and working with HRBPs to develop management capability.
*Work with management teams to develop and implement business focused people strategies to address case management trends/issues.
*Raise line manager competence to deal with the early stages of cases, through coaching, case management workshops and structured training events.
*Manage and maintain relationships with employee representatives, to ensure effective case management processes
*Degree or equivalent and CIPD qualified (or working towards CIPD qualification
