HR BUSINESS PARTNER (TUPE) FIXED TERM CONTRACT-LONDON.

NET-TEC RESOURCING IS CURRENTLY REPRESENTING A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR A HR BUSINESS PARTNER (TUPE) TO JOIN ONE OF THE MOST DIVERSE COMPANIES IN THE PUBLIC AND REGULATED SECTORS PROVIDING SERVICES INCLUDING UTILITIES, HIGHWAYS, WASTE MANAGEMENT, RAIL, JUSTICE SOLUTIONS, SOCIAL HOUSING AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE?

DELIVER THE HR AGENDA AND POLICIES BY:

PROVIDING PROACTIVE, PROFESSIONAL HR SUPPORT.

DELIVERING A VALUE ADDED HR SERVICE TO THE BUSINESS.

APPLYING BEST PRACTICE HR SOLUTIONS THAT MEET THE BUSINESS NEEDS.

SUPERVISING AND DIRECTING THE WORKFLOW OF ONE HR TEAMS.

THE HR BUSINESS PARTNER IS A KEY MEMBER OF THE DE/MOBILISATION TEAM ACTING AS THE HR LEAD ON SMALLER/LESS COMPLEX TUPE ACTIVITY OR PROVIDING SUPPORT ON COMPLEX TUPE ACTIVITY. THE ROLE HAS RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COMPLETION OF A ROBUST DUE DILIGENCE PROCESS, THE PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF THE EMPLOYEE TRANSITION PROCESS INCLUDING CONSULTATION (WITH UNIONS IF NECESSARY) AND TIMELY AND EFFECTIVE EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY.

A PRIMARY ASPECT OF THE ROLE IS TO ENSURE THAT ALL TUPE ACTIVITY IS LEGALLY COMPLIANT IN LINE WITH BEST PRACTICE AND ALL ASSOCIATED RISKS ARE IDENTIFIED AND EFFECTIVELY MANAGED.

MOBILISATIONS

TO DESIGN AND TO DELIVER THE DETAILED HR PLAN WITHIN THE OVERALL MOBILISATION AND TRANSITION PLAN IN LINE WITH ORGANISATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES AND REQUIREMENTS.

TO DESIGN AND ENSURE DELIVERY OF THE HR ACTIVITIES SET OUT WITHIN THE HR PLAN, INCLUDING OPERATIONAL ACTIVITY SUCH AS PAYROLL AND HR MIS SYSTEMS UPLOADING USING INTEGRATED DELIVERY SUPPORT AS APPROPRIATE.

THE MANAGEMENT OF THE DUE DILIGENCE PROCESS IN RESPECT OF THE T&CS, PROFILE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND LIABILITIES OF POTENTIALLY TRANSFERRING POPULATIONS. WORKING CLOSELY WITH COMMERCIAL, ESTIMATORS AND FINANCE TO IDENTIFY AND REDUCE PEOPLE COSTS.

ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH INFORMING AND CONSULTATION REQUIREMENTS WITHIN THE TUPE REGULATIONS THROUGH RECOGNISED TRADE UNIONS, EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVE GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALLY WHERE APPROPRIATE. WHERE NECESSARY, TO INSTIGATE AND MANAGE A NOMINATION AND ELECTION PROCESS FOR THE CREATION OF AN EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVE GROUP FOR CONSULTATION PURPOSES

TO MANAGE AND COMPLETE THE CONSULTATION PROCESS WITH TRADE UNIONS AND/OR EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVES IN RESPECT OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT OF TRANSFERRING POPULATIONS. IDENTIFYING AND PROPOSING APPROPRIATE ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS AS NECESSARY TO DELIVER AN AGREED APPROACH.

TO CO-ORDINATE, AND DELIVER AS NECESSARY AN EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND ENGAGEMENT PLAN

THE MANAGEMENT OF ALL TRANSITION ACTIVITIES INCLUDING DAY ONE HR ACTIONS FOR ASSIGNED PROJECTS.

DEMOBILISATIONS

TO EXECUTE THE HR PEOPLE STRATEGY FOR EACH TUPE OUT AS DESIGNED BY THE HRBP MOBILISATIONS.

IDENTIFYING PEOPLE RISKS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ADDRESSING ISSUES WHICH MAY ARISE AND ESCALATING ACCORDINGLY.

TO DESIGN AND TO DELIVER THE DETAILED HR PLAN WITHIN THE OVERALL DEMOBILISATION PLAN IN LINE WITH ORGANISATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES AND REQUIREMENTS.

TO DESIGN AND ENSURE DELIVERY OF THE HR ACTIVITIES SET OUT WITHIN THE HR PLAN.

THE MANAGEMENT OF THE DUE DILIGENCE PROCESS IN RESPECT OF THE T&CS AND LIABILITIES OF POTENTIALLY TRANSFERRING POPULATIONS. WORKING CLOSELY WITH THE HR DEMOBILISATION LEAD.

TO MANAGE ALL PEOPLE RELATED ASPECTS OF A TUPE OUT INCLUDING INFORMING AND CONSULTING RESPONSIBILITIES.

TO ENSURE THE ACCURACY OF DATA PROVIDED FOR DUE DILIGENCE, ENGAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION ACTIVITIES, PAYROLL, PENSION AND BENEFIT HAND OFFS.

TO MANAGE ANY SITUATIONS WHERE TUPE DOES NOT APPLY TO EMPLOYEES CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE ACCOUNT WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF THE HRBP MOBILISATIONS WHERE NECESSARY, AND IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE OPERATIONAL HRBP.

ALL PROJECTS

TO ANTICIPATE AND IDENTIFY ISSUES AND DEVELOP CONTINGENCIES ESCALATING AND REPORTING AS NECESSARY.TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT TO OTHER HR TEAM MEMBERS IN RESPECT OF TUPE ACTIVITY AS REQUIRED.
