HR BUSINESS PARTNER SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in NEW YORK, NY.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Relationship management - global operations
- Compensation and benefits knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Supports a variety of human resource programs, anticipating and planning for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management
- Provide weekly/monthly reporting and analysis for divisional headcount and attrition reports
- Ad-hoc reporting for the generalist team and clients on various metrics
- Assist in the annual compensation, talent review, performance review and promotion process
- Research and respond to questions from managers and employees regarding HR policies and procedures
- Assist with year-end compensation process, employee relation issues and performance management
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits
- Applies an understanding of relevant markets, business strategies and operating environments and translates business issues into HR solutions.
- Demonstrates an understanding of laws governing human resources practices and ensures that the organization complies with local and national regulations.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors Degree within the Human Resources field or equivalent
- At least one to three (1-3) years of experience as an HR Business Partner
- Experience working with Senior Leaders
- Experience supporting global organizations
- Experience working within a large, fast paced environment
- Experience running reports, analysing data and metrics (new hires, budget, headcount, termination, turnover, promotions, year-end compensation, talent, performance management, etc.)
- Must have excellent MS Excel Skills (pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.)
- Creating Dashboards - translating data into reports that identify key metrics and trends.
- Creating PowerPoint presentations for management
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
- Experience with HR systems is a plus (Success Factors, PeopleSoft, Taleo, etc)
- Exceptional attention to detail.
