HR Business Partner - People Strategy & Company Plan

Our client a leading mobile operator is looking for a HR Business Partner to drive the definition and delivery of the functional area's people plan, partnering with Senior Managers to identify business led solutions that deliver commercial performance, engage with the business on people initiatives, provide leadership on people aspects of business plans and solutions to Senior Management on people and organisational issues. Supporting the design and implementation of solutions to improve business performance and provide coaching on business issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Become a key and active member of the business management team for assigned functional area/areas the role will contribute to and influence the development of the business area's agenda and strategy, providing challenge and consulting support to determine prioritised and well defined needs for people team support
- Ensure robust People Plans are in place that support the overall functional area's strategy, People Strategy and Company Plan
- Identify how the People team can best support achievement of the strategy, working with the Planning & Governance team and other People teams on timescales and deliverables
- Build strong stakeholder relationships within functional area/areas and within People Team
- Provide a proactive service, leading debates using strategic insight gathered from external sources and other areas of the People team
- Lead the Talent Management process for the functional area, facilitating talent assessments and succession planning meetings working with the appropriate teams within the People Experience teams
- Engage with Change Consultants and Implementation Support team for business change and operational people support activity at the right time, ensuring robust objectives and plans for execution
- Provide input into the functional area's workforce plans and forecasts of the demand for People & Property solutions
- Challenge and coach senior managers on how to engage employees and build a performance based culture
- Champion People initiatives, engaging with key stakeholders to gain commitment and action to support.

The HR Business Partner for People and Strategy needs to have strong internal and external customer service focus, have a proven background of facilitating and influencing change. CIPD qualified with HR Partnering in practice and good commercial awareness. Also have the ability to coach Senior Managers to deliver business plans driving performance and capability movement within their teams.
