HR Business Partner Interim

The HR Business Partner role forms part of an HR Business Partner team which is itself subject to transformational change as part of the move to Next Generation HR, which looks to further share HR capabilities and services across the Civil Service The HR Business Partner team work flexibly and dynamically to deliver on a wide range of projects.

To be based in either Reading (preferred) or Exeter, Carlisle, Newcastle or York

The role requires an experienced HR Business Partner with the ability to quickly establish credibility in a demanding environment.

Specifically we are looking for an Interim with:
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience of designing, developing and rolling out change management programmes, with a clear understanding of the factors that affect their success.
Experience of building a strategic resourcing/retention plan
A deep understanding of relevant current employment law and discrimination law, plus proposed changes, understands the role of legislation in progressing issues of diversity and knows what the organisation needs to do to mitigate risk.
Knows what external human resources thought leaders and benchmark organisations are doing in a variety of areas and considers how lessons may apply to this organisation.
Has the ability to develop a deep understanding of the organisation's strategy, performance goals and drivers.
Understands the sector in which the organisation operates and the market factors that impact performance, including customers, competitors, etc.
Understands and speaks the 'language of the business' and how to translate the organisation plan into a people plan.
