HR BUSINESS PARTNER, HR CONSULTANT, HR RESOURCE MANAGER, CIPD, LONDON

Our client requires the services of an HR Consultant for a 6 month contract based in Docklands, London. The role is to work within a small HR team within a Financial Services company providing advice and support across all business areas dealing with all aspects of recruitment, retention, employee relations and development. Also providing all information for payroll and dealing with benefits administration.

Required Skills

High level individual contributor - must be able to act independently

HR Generalist experience (mandatory: recent experience of volume recruitment including sourcing, interviewing and administration; conducting end to end restructuring; advising at senior level and dealing with complex ER issues)

CIPD Qualified
-

Experience of HR Recruitment systems
-

Strong Excel Skills
-

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Excellent organisational skills

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to build strong working relationships with employees of all levels.

Responsibilities of role:

Employee Relations:

-

Providing advice to Directors and line managers on all aspects of employee relations for specific business areas
-

Dealing with disciplinary, grievance and redundancy matters ensuring Company policy is adhered to
-

Dealing with maternity/paternity/parental leave flexible working requests and associated documentation

Recruitment:

Recruitment for specific business areas covering London, Liverpool, Manchester and Dublin locations, including:

-

Utilising on line Recruitment Portals
-

Screening CVs as necessary and sending all suitable candidates to recruiting manager
-

Obtaining feedback from recruiting managers; updating preferred suppliers and keeping system updated
-

Arranging interviews; booking meeting rooms and ensuring conference facilities are booked if required
-

Conducting interviews

-

Preparing contracts of employment for permanent hires along with all associated administration
-

Ensuring all required paperwork/screening is checked on employees/temporary workers first day of joining

Reports:

-

Checking and providing input to weekly headcount reports
-

Preparing recruiting and attrition report weekly and providing information required for PNJ reports
-

Monthly reporting to include KPI's and providing cover for HR Dashboard and finance report
