HR Business Partner/Generalist Job

HR BUSINESS PARTNER/GENERALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in HOUSTON, TX.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work with managers and provide guidance on: Performance Management, Employee Engagement; Employee Relations; Talent Managementactive participant in business strategies, workforce management planning and cost initiatives
- Actively support bi-annual employee survey and drive action planning
- Partnering with our Centers of Excellence to support our businesses through the associate and business life cycles.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Seven (7+) years HR Generalist experience (ie employee relations, talent development, compensation, commission plans, business partnership, thought leadership. etc.)
- High degree of proficiency utilizing Excel to assist with data analytics and create dashboards and scorecards
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of critical thinking skills and the ability to translate ideas into executive level presentations
- Ability to establish and maintain credibility with associates and management
- Ability to influence outcomes in the face of conflicting viewpoints with creative solution
- Ability to manage performance and associate relations issues to successful conclusion
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a time sensitive environment
- Experience managing HR priorities and developing business partner relationships across multiple geographic location
- Experience in a fast paced industrial environment highly desirable and ability to travel as needed
