We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner Consultant to work on a fixed term contract (6-12 Months) to work with the HRBP Upstream Manager to deliver Human Resources projects supporting the 10 Year Coal Operations People Strategy.

You will be experienced in delivering specific assigned projects to the required quality and timeframe, and within budget whilst also contributing to the delivery of wider projects and initiatives.

There will be a requirement to also undertake HR business as usual activities including developing commercial HR solutions, and providing professional advice and operational support to designated line managers.

You and the HRBP Upstream team will be responsible and accountable for the successful development and delivery of specific projects related to the 10 Year Coal Operations People Strategy whilst providing day to day professional HR operational support and advice as required.

Our ideal candidate will be

Graduate member of CIPD minimum standard

Experience in the management of and delivery of HR projects

Experience in developing and presenting business cases for projects Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organisation

Creative yet pragmatic, but able to deliver at speed

Experience of working in a unionised environment dealing with complex cases

Able to deliver high quality HR generalist support, including extensive knowledge of appropriate employment law and HR best practices and their pragmatic application

Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding in the areas of change and strategic consulting, performance management, reward management, people development, talent management resourcing and ER/engagement.

Evidence of strong professional network and continuous personal development.

Ability to coach line managers and influence as appropriate to ensure successful outcomes

Credibility to influence and successfully challenge senior / line managers
