HR Business Partner/CIPD/HR assistant

We are looking for an individual to Support the HR manager during a Office relocation. This will mean supporting the HR Business Partner in change activity required to manage the office move and being a source of advice, guidance and support to managers and staff as the move takes place. We are looking for someone with varied generalist HR background. Experience of dealing with business change and relocation/redundancy would be beneficial.
You will be a key point of contact at an operational level and will work as part of a small site based team, supporting the HR Business Partner and site management team.

Responsibilities:
Support the HR Business Partner in the day to day management and implementation of the office relocation
Source of advice, guidance and support to managers and staff
Liaise with local managers, staff and TUS/staff representatives - advising and supporting on process and people issues
Update relevant project plans and associated documentation
Drafting guidance, letters and documents to support the change process
Work with the HRBP to design, develop and deliver line manager and staff workshops/briefings on topics such as excess fares, handling change, staff consultation and redeployment processes
Overseeing excess fares claims process in conjunction with Team Administrator
Responsible for collating and reporting of relevant management information
Manage and maintain relevant information records for evidence/audit purposes
Day to day management of Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) process - identify relevant questions and prepare responses to manager/staff questions for HRBP approval
Deputising for the HRBP at meetings where appropriate

HR Business Partner/CIPD/HR assistant

Essential criteria:

Experience of working in an HR environment at an Advisory level, dealing with generalist HR activities
Ability to interpret translate policy and process, providing practical advice and guidance
Experience of providing practical advice to managers
Relevant, up to date employment law knowledge
Experience of working in a unionised environment
Self motivated, with attention to detail
CIPD qualified (or currently studying)

Desirable Criteria:

Public sector experience - desirable
Experience of supporting an office relocation or similar business change - desirable
