HR Business Partner/Manager

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be have relevant experience in the HR field ideally with a science or pharmaceutical background. They must be used to working in a fast-paced environment and be dynamic and adaptable. They will be pragmatic and able to work with initiative and discretion. They must have excellent verbal, written and communication skills. Candidates will have working knowledge and understanding of HR legislation/employment law, principles, policies, and procedures and while not necessarily the subject matter expert in each HR speciality area, must be able to discuss with management basic organisational development matters and the fundamental issues of the HR functional areas (training, compensation, benefits, etc).

The Associate Manager duties include:
*Act as an HR Business Partner to specified Managers and Teams.
*Provide advice and support to managers and employees on people issues.
*Administer HR programs and communicate these to management and employees.
*Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
*Under general guidance of HR Director, works with line managers to interpret and implement human resource policies within the designated client group, including employee development initiatives, compensation and benefit programs.
*Develops professional expertise in understanding a client group's business operations and how they differ from other business functions from a process or cultural perspective.
*Builds a collaborative and trusted relationship with managers by acknowledging issues in their client groups and developing a strategy to resolve problems.
*Coordinates the annual review process for the site/group, and provides managers with advice on the distribution of merit increases, as well as identifying positions requiring equity adjustments.
*Manages compliance requirements of HR administration and data management.
*Leads employee relation cases, investigations, disciplinary, terminations, PIPs and flexible work applications supporting managers during the process and ensuring legal compliance. Seeks legal advice as required internally and externally.
*Supports implementation of company-wide initiatives, including, but not limited to presenting the impact of policies and programs to internal clients, preparing and answering frequently asked questions by employees.
*Manages or conducts a range of HR programs for assigned client group.
*Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment activities and interview candidates up to the

Senior Manager level.
*Carry out new employee HR inductions and onboarding.
*Work with HR Shared Services to ensure effective HR administration and processes.
*Maintain local employee files and co-ordinate HR instructions to the payroll department.
*Participate in training needs analysis and coordinate a range of training solutions.
*Liaise with HR colleagues as required (HRIS, Reward, L&D etc)
*Participate as a team member in International HR Projects.
