Duties will include:
- Analyse complex information, knowledge needs and requirements of health and social care as relevant to the role.
- Contributing to workforce planning and development.
- Undertake recruitment and selection as required and in line with national policies.
- Develop plans to implement improvement activities which include measurable quality and efficiency improvements to be delivered and timescales.
- Identifying opportunities for integrated working across Directorates.
- Manage and lead team, ensuring that the staff are appropriately advised and coached and that formal training is provided, as required.
- Allocate work to staff for specific areas of work and advise on the most effective utilisation of staff resource, matching predicted workload.
- Contribute to the operational efficiency of the database
Essential skills required:
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent with a professional HR qualification and Chartered membership of CIPD
- Significant demonstrable experience of applying highly specialised knowledge across a range of situations within a human resource environment.
- Experience of communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, exerting influencing and motivating skills.
- Experience of managing staff and teams over a range of functions and the ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve objectives.
- Experience of dealing with challenging and hostile situations including involving senior staff members.
- Experience of supporting organisational change
- Experience of HR business partnering, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
- Experience of writing and implementing organisational policies and operational procedures.
