JOB DUTIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong generalist HR background with a commercially focused approach
- Experience in performance management, absence, conduct, workforce planning & recruitment, talent and succession.
- Experience of advising and influencing managers at all levels on a wide variety of HR matters.
- Able to constructively challenge and persuade and influence the business when required.
- Ability to work alongside management team and up skill in terms of HR knowledge and management capabilities.
- Experience of supporting managers with business change.
- Ability to translate policy and process into practical solutions.
- Delivery of workshops and training interventions to management team.
- Relevant up to date employment law knowledge.
- Experience of working within a unionised environment.
- Self-starter, resilient with a positive and professional attitude.
- Customer Focused
- Experience of building credibility, trust and positive working relationships with geographical dispersed customers.
- Attuned to working in a busy environment, working to tight and challenging deadlines.
- Public sector experience desirable.
- TUPE experience desirable.
