Contact name: Sophie Charlton Are you an experienced HR business partner looking for a new challenge in an organisation thats highly dynamic but strongly driven by its values? Can you help us get the best out of our talented people and make sure everyone gets the chance to learn, develop and progress? As a Sunday Times Top 100 not-for-profit organisation, our people are very important to us. And youll be at the heart of our people strategy.

Were the Financial Ombudsman Service - an independent organisation set up to sort out disputes between financial services businesses and their customers. When a consumer has a complaint that they cant settle with the business, they can come to us. Were here to act fairly, reasonably and impartially - and our service is free for consumers to use.

Our service is responding to a record number of enquiries at the moment and so our HR team has a critical role to play - making sure we have the right people on board, supporting managers during a time of change and making the ombudsman a vibrant, rewarding and inspiring place to work. As an HR business partner, youll work closely with our managers in a specific business area - helping them to implement our HR strategy, offering guidance and support and tackling a variety of employment issues.

So what are we looking for from you? Youll know what its like to be an HR business partner in a busy environment, and youll have experience of working with business managers. The nature of the role means youll be able to build great relationships with the people you work with, knowing when to involve your lead HR business partner and supporting other members of the team. Perhaps most importantly, youll understand its our people that allow us to deliver the valued service we do - youll be inspired by the chance to help us develop and improve as an organisation.

Its important to remember that our values are central to the way we work - and work together. So youll be someone who believes in doing the right thing, respecting the needs of your colleagues and doing what you say youll do.

And what will we give you in return? On top of the starting salary and standard benefits including a generous non-contributory pension, you can also choose the flexible benefits that best suit you and your life. And very importantly, youll get the chance to make a positive difference every day at the heart of an organisation which is providing a valued service to society.

When we recruit, we actively look for people from a wide range of backgrounds because we want our people to reflect the diversity of those whose complaints we settle. This keeps us in touch and connected - and able to see both sides of every story. We also do our very best to support those who need us to adapt to their circumstances - whether its our people, customers or job applicants.

So if you think youve got the kinds of skills and experience were looking for, "apply now" to find out more.
