HR BUSINESS PARTNER

A large Telco is looking for an innovative HR Business Partner to come aboard on a long part time contract (3-4 days per week) to manage a number of business project initiatives as well as providing program support to an assigned client group in the development and implementation of high level or complex human resources initiatives and to achieve business objectives through business partnering.

You will have excellent communication and influencing skills in order to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and key stakeholders relevant to the achievement of business objectives.

Ideally you will be tertiary qualified with extensive experience in delivering practical commercial HR solutions within a large, complex, environment. Regarded as an expert; you will be capable of dealing with a range of difficult or very complex issues and you will be able to lead or have functional responsibility for a number of related procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

- Understand the business culture, leadership and direction to tailor advice to ensure the effective application of all HR policies and process
- Identify and analyse key people issues and key performance metrics for the business and provide input into the planning process with appropriate human resource interventions
- Drive the development of HR business plans and implement relevant tasks and initiatives as part of companywide initiatives.
- Establish and maintain influential relationships with clients to help guide positive employee interactions
- Advise HR colleagues and business unit customers on company-wide HR/change management initiatives.

Key Requirements:

- A strong understanding of all elements of the HR function, and the ability to quickly enhance your detailed knowledge of internal and external best practice.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver results where you have limited formal authority, and be personally resilient when faced with challenges.
- The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with partners, peers and stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently, with significant autonomy and limited detail direction.
- A strong action orientation focused on delivering pragmatic solutions to the business.
- Excellent communication skills across all mediums (eg presentations, written, one-on-one with all organisation levels, tele/video conference etc).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and bring a sound commercial focus to the delivery of HR interventions.
