Brook Street are currently working on behalf of our Global New Media Client to recruit a HR Associate.

This is a contract role based in Guildford.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The individual will be a key business partner within the HR team covering maternity leave and supporting the organisational and people agenda to achieve business results. The HR Associate will be responsible for the effective execution of all people processes and support the HR Manager with ad hoc and Rhythm of the Business projects. During the contract period the role will also be supporting the transformation of some HR processes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Run monthly payroll, collating all amendments, managing payroll submission and working with the UK Stats team and an external payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll.

Act as primary first point of contact for general HR queires

Provde all administrative support for Studio benefits, liaising with providers on changes and supporting employees with queries related to benefits.

Manage all new joiner administration including the approval process, creating contracts of employement, supporting visa application process, setting new joiners up on all systems, onboarding and probationary periods.

Adminstering all employee leavers, including the exit interview process

Effectively manage all HR tools and processes which support excellent service provision

Partners with HR Manager to deliver the people agenda and strategy to support business plans.

Ensure all HR processes are being delivered effectively to the business; monitor progress regularly and partner with recruiting, operations and other HR teams

Coach/advise on HR processes & people issues in line with HR best practice and company policy

Contribute to a positive employee relations climate in the group

Ensure all policies, practices and procedures are communicated as appropriate

Support and assist with ad hoc HR projects

Be a contributor to the HR team engaging in key activities & sharing experience & work load

As a candidate for this position you will be able to demonstrate:

- Proven experience in HR administration and operational support to business teams
- A focus on how HR drives business results
- Demonstrable experience of business partnership
- Able to manage & deliver through virtual &/or project teams.
- Good all round experience of HR systems, policies, legal requirements, programs & practices.
- Support for busy HR ROB
- Able to administrate and provide delivery support for complex processes
- Experience of working with HR IT tools
- Good standard of PC literacy, comfortable with technology
- Business orientated HR Focus
- Excellent organisational skills

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant. In addition, subject to qualification criteria, you will have the potential opportunity to earn bonus.

Salary: up to £33,000 (depending on experience)
