HR ASSISTANT I needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MINNEAPOLIS, MN.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Must have excellent people skills and the ability to work with large crowds.
- Must have Microsoft package knowledge with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Must be able to communicate professionally with face to face applicants as well as via phone with professional phone etiquette

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provides support in functional areas of a human resources department, which may include recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development and training.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Associate's Degree or equivalent
- Zero to two (0-2) years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Microsoft package knowledge with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate professionally with face to face applicants as well as via phone with professional phone etiquette
- Excellent people skills and ability to work with large crowds
