About the Role

We're recruiting for a HR Assistant to join our Shared Service team in Walsall. This role is offered on a part time temporary basis for an anticipated duration of 5-6 months.

As HR Assistant, your role will be to provide HR support to the business. Duties to include actioning HR administration accurately and efficiently, dealing with first line HR queries to include starters, leavers, movers and benefits, and providing support to other areas of the wider HR function as needed.

About You

You'll already have experience in a busy HR function where you've been providing first line HR advisory support and generalist HR administration support for the end to end employee journey. This will include starters, leavers, movers, producing contracts of employment, pre-employment and compliance, probation letters and the resignation process.

You may be studying towards a related professional qualification (CPP or equivalent), but what's essential is that you're a confident communicator with a good telephone manner, a team player and have a great eye for detail. Flexible, able to prioritise your own workload and juggle multiple tasks efficiently. Computer literate, and proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You'll thrive in a fast paced, ever evolving environment. Ideally, you'll also have case management experience, however this is not an essential requirement.
