Contract: 9 to 12 months Maternity Cover
Our client is a leading supplier of systems and services to the aerospace, defence and homeland security markets. They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven individual to cover maternity leave within the HR department. The ideal candidate must have previous exposure to HR functions/responsibilities and have a strong administration background.
Although they are not looking for candidates to be qualified, a strong background working within HR is essential as this role will include some transactional duties. To apply for this role candidates must have experience using MS Office packages and knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support to the HR Advisors
Assisting with the recruitment in arranging interviews
Collating and reporting monthly statistics
Updating various data information and producing charts
Assisting with the payroll administration
General administration tasks including typing and sending letters
Coaching and advising managers/employees within the business
Providing policy guidance to staff
Absence management recording
General transactional HR tasks
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Previous HR knowledge and experience
Excellent administration skills
Effective communicate skills (verbal and written)
Have initiative, enthusiasm and be self-motivated
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant HR qualification required
Aerospace experience would be advantageous
Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
