HR Assistant 6 month Contract

Day rate negotiable

My Client is looking for a contract Human Resources Assistant to provide cover for approximately 6 months.

They are an electronics design consultancy working on a diverse range of innovative and challenging technologies for the communications and electronics industries.

You will be well presented and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You should have good interpersonal skills and be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. Confidentiality is also a major part of this role. At least 3 years experience in a similar role is essential. Excellent communication, diplomatic and organisational skills are an advantage. You should have the ability to work under pressure and with personnel from all levels.

Duties will include, though not limited to:
Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment
Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
Administer the recruitment process
Liaise with recruitment agencies
Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence
Conduct interviews
Arrange training as required
Initiate induction process and ensure it is carried out in a timely manner
Carry out security checks on new joiners as required
Responsible for ensuring company benefits are renewed
Manage leave system for new joiners and leavers
Provide assistance to Board members as requested

General Administration and Adhoc Duties:
Maintain employees files
Ensure adequate security for all HR related information
Provide general office administration as requested
