Projektbeschreibung

Our client, a leading member of the Utilities industry, requires a contracted HR Assistant for a 12 month role based in Swindon.

Job purpose: To provide a responsive and confidential Human Resources service to Line Managers and staff in an efficient and timely manner. Working closely with HR Managers, HR Advisors and other members of the HR team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Daily maintenance of the HR mailboxes ensuring that the administration of new starters, inter-company transfers, leavers, contractual changes and queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently
- Ensuring "ownership" of queries and keeping the customer informed of progress
- Provision of advice to Line Managers in line with transactional HR procedures and first level queries in connection with sickness absence, performance management, family friendly policies, grievance and disciplinary procedures
- Management of recruitment process from obtaining sign-off, placing of advert (reviewing & agreeing the advert with line manager), managing shortlisting process & identifying relevant assessment methods, including facilitating and administering tests at Assessment Centres
- Administration of relocation/ex-pat/work permits or Visa's as appropriate
- Administration of benefits at all stages of the employee life cycle
- Monthly HR reporting and ad hoc reports as required
- Maintaining employee records, including scanning, filing and archiving
- Provision of ongoing support to members of the HR team in day to day work
- Participation in HR projects to improve processes and practices
- Assisting HR Advisors and Managers in the implementation of specific HR initiatives

KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good working knowledge of employment policies, procedures and best practice
- Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ideally SAP HR

EXPERIENCE:

- Sound experience of working in a fast paced, customer focused department.
- Proven experience of consistently achieving demanding service level expectations

- Flexible in approach to support overall service delivery, highly motivated, pro-active and comfortable working in a fast paced environment

- Organised and methodical style with particular attention to detail and quality
