HR and Talent Specialist - 4 Month Contract - Warwick - Negotiable Rate

HR and Talent Specialist required for large, blue chip Utilities client, based in the West Midlands.

This assignment is working with the clients Electricity Transmission Asset Management (ETAM) and our Gas Transmission Asset Management (GTAM) businesses, which are responsible for the design, policy and delivery of work for their electricity transmission and gas transmission systems respectively.
Managed through the UK Leadership, Talent and Change team within Global HR, this assignment is to improve the focus on talent management within these businesses by:

*Understanding the risks in respect to succession into Operational Roles within GTAM & ETAM
*Designing processes to identify individuals with potential
*Support the acceleration of the development of these individuals

Experience Required

Essential:

* Significant broad experience in HR in similar size organisation, and specifically

* Experience of managing talent management processes within a FTSE 100 company or similar environment

* Experience of successfully managing projects, preferably talent projects

Desirable:

*Experience of working with functions focused on managing operations

Qualifications Required:

CIPD preferred

Technical Role competencies:
*Project management, with experience of managing complex interdependencies
*Robust HR process knowledge
*Significant talent management knowledge
*Ability to think at tactical and strategic levels
*Knowledge of current thinking on best practice in talent management
*Ability to consult with, influence and establish a high level of confidence with various internal stakeholders
*Strong networking skills
