HR Advisors

Public sector client based in Newport, Wales seeks an experienced HR advisors to provide a professional HR service to line managers and staff on employee relations matters. You will involve in advising and supporting them in the handling of casework relating to discipline, grievance, inefficiency, sickness absence, respect at work, and keeping updated on the case as it progresses. You will provide clear and balanced advice and guidance to line managers on personnel issues and interpretation of the policies, terms and conditions. You will ensure the correct application of employment law, Freedom of Information, Data Protection and Diversity policies so that the organisation operates within legal and Policy boundaries. Due to the urgency, nature and length of the assignment, the successful candidate should have current security clearance to BC level or above.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- CIPD/CPP qualified or equivalent HR qualification
- Managing Work: Evidence of organising and planning work, optimising the provision, allocation and use of resources and/or finance. Ideally having proven experience of dealing with a variety of casework.
- Managing People and Developing Self and Others: Proven track record of providing clear, balanced advice and guidance on complex people issues to staff at all levels with an awareness of confidentiality.
- Delivering Quality Outcomes: Evidence to demonstrate building excellent relationships with internal/external customers, making informed decisions and offering workable solutions.
- Strategic Thinking: Experience of working in a HR environment.
- Communication: Evidence of clear communication style, both face to face and written correspondence.
- Working with Others: Evidence of participating and supporting a team, working together in order to achieve objectives.

EXTRA INFORMATION:

- This is initially a 4 months contract role with an option for further extension. Daily rate is £175-180 per day
