ROLE: HR ADVISOR

LOCATION: BRISTOL

DURATION: 3+ Months Initially with possible extension

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is responsible for transitioning existing VOSA employees in to the new way of working, as well as recruiting external staff to build a skilled, customer focused and engaged workforce for the future.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- ABILITY TO BE AN ASSESSOR AT DEVELOPMENT AND RECRUITMENT EVENTS-OBSERVATION, JUDGEMENT AND FEEDBACK SKILLS
- CPP qualified
- Some management experience
- Understanding of recruitment and Development

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

- CIPD certified
- Experience in the Design of assessment centres

ESSENTIAL

- Work with the team to design and develop activities and selection events that support staff to transition to the new testing directorate to ensure high performance
- Design of exercises to demonstrate competencies/indicators for development & assessment events, including role plays, presentations and other activities for roles, working with subject matter experts to ensure relevancy and validity
- Test exercises to ensure they enable competencies to be seen and are achievable in the time given and with the information provided
- Develop guidance notes and marking sheets to support development and assessment events to ensure consistency and fairness
