A global, blue chip company is currently recruiting for an HR Advisor/Consultant to be based in Amersham on a short-term contractual basis with an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and personally assist managers in important changes.
Please note that applicants must have a notice period of two weeks or less.
As an HR Advisor/Consultant you will have the following responsibilities;
- Support Managers and suggest improvements/review current policies and procedures - some from scratch
- Ensure all policies and procedures are in line with current legislation
- Help to support and provide training and development on an on-going basis
- Review the recruitment processes and guidelines and support managers in changes and decisions to be made
- Develop the HR Intranet site to ensure information is relevant and up-to-date
- Be concerned with training and development in the areas of finance, on-boarding and management development
Applicants for the role of HR Advisor/Consultant will ideally have the following demonstrable qualities;
- Strong Generalist HR experience covering policy writing, recruitment and training and development
- A background in an HR Advisor/Consultant/Manager status with a working knowledge of carrying out the responsibilities above
- Excellent communication skills - able to communicate ideas to management
- First hand knowledge of working within large corporate environments
- Previous work in the areas of suggesting improvements to policies and procedures
- First hand knowledge of improving current processes/creating new processes from scratch
