HR ADVISOR - CASE MANAGEMENT, CIPD, PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

A HR advisor with Case Management, CIPD, and Performance Management skills/experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Cumbria.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's team within the role of HR Advisor. The ideal candidate will manage and lead complex or sensitive day to day people issues and successfully case manage in all areas.

OVERVIEW OF THE HR ADVISOR CONTRACT ROLE

- The successful candidate will act as single point of contact within the Case Management team on all people related issues and is people champion ensuring that people are always high on the business agenda.
- To support line managers to improve the overall performance of their team by applying best in class performance to management practices to individuals and teams and to reduce the time lost via employee absence.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders in order to persuasively challenge and contribute to driving the Case Management vision.

Key Outputs to provide support and guidance to the line managers on a day to day basis regarding:

- Casework [Disciplinary/Grievance/Absence management]
- Performance management
- Ethics Complaints
- Trade Union Related Issues
- Delivery of the HR/ER Strategic Objectives

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE HR ADVISOR

- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- Working towards CIPD Degree or qualified/equivalent

The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District
