As HR Advisor you will be leading and directing the Back Office team by implementing HR processes and delivering new and revised policies. You will be advising and progressing activity associated with: disciplinary, grievances, pay/allowances, recruitment, performance and or absence management.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
- Providing HR casework support (guidance and coaching) to Managers
- Providing expert and timely casework advice and guidance to managers on a range of HR Casework in relation to attendance, performance, conduct and grievances in accordance with policies and procedures
- Assist with or review drafting of letters for managers
- Seek legal advice and prepare appropriate submissions as required or directed by the team manager
- Prepare any documentation required for legal Counsel in relation to Employment Tribunals
Essential Experience:
- At least 2 years HR Casework experience
- Experience of providing HR Casework support on attendance, performance, conduct and grievance cases
- Must be CIPD qualified
- Providing advice and guidance to a range of levels of manager on a wide range of issues.
- Building effective relationships with a range of people face to face and by telephone.
- Experience of resolving problems creatively and compliantly.
- A good understanding of employment law
