HR Advisor

Hr Advisor needed for Government department in central Birmingham, the role is to cover the permanent recruitment to this role so will need to be someone that has a good HR background and can hit the ground running. Experience of public sector or civil service HR would be desirable but not essential. CIPD Post graduate diploma level (Level 7) or 3 years generalist HR experience is required. Main duties will be to support the HR Business Partner in providing and analysing statistics to the business (attendance, performance etc) so a good working knowledge of Excel is required, advising on recruitment and resource planning will also be a large part of the role so experience of Civil Service recruitment and WCN system could be helpful.

SKILLS REQUIRED
Essential Skills/Knowledge: Proficiency in Excel Excellent communication skills Good drafting skills Good interpersonal and networking skills Desirable Skills/Knowledge: Previous experience in a HR Advisor role Demonstrates knowledge and experience of generalist HR in particular, resourcing, talent management and workforce planning.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
