HR Administrator Service Centre

As a HR Service Centre Administrator, you will be part of the HR service team, focusing on day to day performance and delivery to HR Partners and the wider business. Reporting to the HR Service Leader, you will be responsible for delivering a high quality HR administrative service to staff line managers and employees. This will include you being the first point of contact for HR queries across the business, and handling and escalating these as required.

Key Accountabilities

Provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers. Provide efficient and accurate administrative support within the Service Centre. Ensure all hard and soft copy personnel records are maintained, secure and comply with the Data Protection Act. Ensure all admin relating to new starters, payroll changes and leavers is completed, and probationary reviews are monitored and actioned. Liaise with candidates to obtain their pre-employment documents. Process new starter documentation, including disclosure applications and identification badges. Maintaining confidentiality at all times and ensuring this is adhered to across the business. General administration such as post, stationery and invoicing.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Can follow HR policies and procedures.
Good planning and organisational skills.
Follow up queries and take action when required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good organisational and analytical skills, able to work accurately and work on own initiative.
Excellent team player Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Desirable:

Previous experience of working in a demanding and varied HR shared service environment.
Some experience of working within a multi site organisation.
Knowledge of HR databases.

Additional Information

Salary up to £18K p.a. This is a 3 month temporary contract based in Hockley, Essex.
